Michael Gunther started out in feature films after a
successful career as a commercials director in Europe that spanned almost a
decade, and included such highlights as a three commercial collaboration with
Academy Award winning DP Russell Boyd (Master and Commander, Liar Liar) in Australia. He
then turned his sights to documentary and feature films and started producing
TV documentaries with his own company, among them a portrait of acclaimed painter Hans
Falk, and a harrowing account of the devastating 1999 earthquake in
Turkey. He wrote and directed his first feature film, The Honeytrap, starring acclaimed
British actress Emily Lloyd in 2002.
Michael went on to produce and line-produce a number of
independent, New York based features and prize winning shorts. Most recently
he was the co-producer for the feature film Anamorph (dir: Henry Miller,
prod: Marissa McMahon for Kamala Films), starring Willem Dafoe, Scott
Speedman, Peter Stormare and Clea Duvall, with renowned DP Fred Murphy (Mothman
Prophecies, Secret Window, Auto Focus, RV), and legendary production designer
Jack De Govia (Die Hard I & III, Speed, 40 Year Old Virgin, Stepford
Wives).
Returning to his roots, Michael also directed the 2nd Unit shoots
on Anamorph. The movie is theatrically distributed by IFC in the US and has sold in over 30 overseas territories (UK, Germany, France, Mexico, Russia, Brazil, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, South Africa, Greece, Middle East, Portugal, Colombia, Italy, South Korea, Thailand, Eastern Europe, etc.)., Michael is planning to do more directing with his next projects,
the political drama Brother Engineer and the romantic comedy Callie
& Bell.
Michael has structured tax credit and finance deals in both Europe and the US and has been involved with film sales and marketing campaigns, including festival and film market outings in Cannes, Berlin and London.
Neil Keane has been working in the financial markets for over 20 years and has a wide range of experience, covering futures & options broking, financial journalism and proprietary trading. He has worked for a number of leading organizations in London and Sydney including Barclays Capital, Man Group subsidiary GNI, derivatives exchange Liffe and Dow Jones & Co. He now concentrates on trading systems development and structured products. He joins Triboro Pictures as head of finance and marketing.
Vikas Bandhu has worked in numerous production capacities for a wide variety of projects. He has participated as Assistant Director, Producer and in various other production functions on projects like Heights (Merchant/Ivory), Far From Heaven and Talk To Me, as well as on several television series. Vikas joins Triboro as associate producer and heads the production services department..
Alex Blakeney has worked in the entertainment industry for the past several years in various capacities. His experience ranges from big budget projects, such as the Live Earth concert series and the spy thriller Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, to lower budget project like Death and Beauty. Favorite projects include Sweet Lorraine, starring Academy Award winner Tatum O’Neal, and time spent working for the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park series. Alex comes to Triboro as an associate producer.
Gordon Brookes has worked for several independent production companies. He was assistant general manager at Syracuse’s CitrusTV, and he brings a wide range of experience in post and high end digital production. More recently Gordon has worked on the production side of a number of New York based television and feature film projects. He joins Triboro to head the IT and post production department.
Sirad Balducci has been working in the film industry for
over 15 years, from production managing, line producing to creative
development and script consultation. In 1994, Sirad formed VAMP Productions, Inc. a feature film
development company focused on challenging social issues by tackling subject
matter that is engaging, dramatic and provocative. Sirad has worked on films
including: Wishful Thinking (Miramax), Basquiat (Miramax), Bullet (Village Roadshow), Belly (Artisan); and Ransom (Imagine
Entertainment). She worked with Peter Berg as Associate Producer on the
Disney/Imagine Television show Wonderland for ABC, and produced
the highly acclaimed episodic television series Into Character for AMC.
Sirad worked on Anamorph starring Willem Dafoe and Scott Speedman and was the New York production manager of Italian feature Christmas in New York. She is currently co-producer of the upcoming movie Transbeman.
Mark Hartogsohn has worked for a number of independent production companies and joins Triboro Pictures as head of the development department, where he will focus on finding and liaising with new writers and projects. He has previously worked in documentary and television production, at Great Cities Media and WCNY Public Television, as well as in the development department at GreeneStreet Films, and as script coordinator for Good Morning America/ABC News, which has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy award.
Alejandro Kaed Prior to joining Triboro Pictures, Alejandro has worked in the financial industry, in ebusiness strategy, operations and business consulting, for international firms such as Santander Financial Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers, both in Europe and in the US. After deciding to change careers, he attended the New York Film Academy and has worked on independent film projects in NYC and in Argentina.
